Piscine with berry ice cubes GourmetGuerilla.de A few years ago I was two friends in the summer resort at the Côte d'Azur. After hanging out on the beach all day long (and throwing covetous views of Club 55), we drove over the seven mountains in the evening with the bright red VW Combi. And to Saint-Tropez. There we lolled in the back area in the bars at the harbor (only tourists sit in the first row at the water), ordered pastis and olives and enjoyed the view of the unbelievable yachts. Incidentally, everything looked exactly like in the films with Louis de Funès as Flic in continuous use.

In addition to the delicious Tarte de Citrons I remembered one drink above all: Piscine. Swimming pool. A large red wine goblet is filled with ice up to half and then poured with rosé. Until then, I knew Rosé as a sweet wine for older ladies, who in doubt give 1 to 2 sweetener tablets for the right sweetness in the glass. Yes, the drinking mode is changing. At that time I had a pink revival, so to speak. Since then I've been slurling delicious rosé on ice in the summer.

A few days ago my colleague Marcelo confessed to me that he would like to drink rosé lately. We have then mutually confirmed that the modern man of today can stand quietly to his rose - only dry and must be of a berry fruitiness. After all, the restaurants that hold something up, now at least a rosé in the map.

That gave me the idea to spice up the ice a bit and even a few berries in the largest possible ice cubes to install (I LOVE big ice cubes). And it's so easy: Wash berries of your choice, read them and then put them into different ice cube molds. I had Still from IKEA large square silicone molds and shapes for ice cream sticks. Fill with water and freeze. You can also have cocktail sticks or other things frozen for the optics.

What can I tell you: it is amazing. When photographing the cubes and chopsticks, I found that I could actually drink the 1st of my life for the rest of my life and 2. photograph berries in ice.

Santé!
